When your crawling around, flat on your stomach, in search of insects and other tiny photo models, macro photography is nothing less than a mini-safari. Laying in the grass, you are surrounded by herbivoures like grasshoppers, aphids, caterpillars and butterflies. Lurking between the plants you will find ferosious predators like spiders, dragonflies and ladybeetles.
In these series I will show the results of my safaries in different grasslands in Europe.
Series n°.01 was made in the Pirin Mountains and it's surroundings, in southwest Bulgaria. The grasslands in this erea are increadably rich in flowering plants, which in their turn attract a huge diversity and abundance of insects.
